Road surfaces are rutted, rocky and sandy with steps not exceeding 14″. Water not exceeding 12″ with some mud possible. Good vehicle approach and departure angles are helpful. Tall tires (33″ plus) and traction added device (lockers, limited slips) is recommended. Above average driving skills are desirable.
Description
Trail is split between county roads and a few sections of steep narrow trails that are rocky. This trail is suitable for stock 4×4 vehicles. Special equipment is not required but is helpful. Please make sure you have a full tank of fuel and that your spare tire is in good condition.
This trail starts near the Sky Ranch Airport and follows the east rim of the Sand Hollow area around to stunning views off the top of the bluff.
Highlights
Some amazing scenery in every direction. The view from the top can be extraordinary. Bring your camera and binoculars.
